With seven years of experience in the psychology field, I have worked in various residential facilities, clinics, and school districts with various ages and populations. Since receiving my master of science degree in marriage and family therapy from Our Lady of the Lake University-Houston in 2023, I have been living my calling as a licensed marriage and family therapist-associate. As a born and raised Catholic Houstonian, my cultural and religious background has deeply influenced my approach to counseling. I aim to help men (but open to all) increase their mental strength. From an early age, I always heard “suck it up and be hard” when either a male friend or I started crying or was hurt. My experience produced an idea that men cannot have feelings, which caused me to have an unhealthy expression of emotions. As a therapist, I want to flip this narrative on its head for everyone. As your strength-based therapist, I aim to enhance your mental virtues of strength, courage, hope, confidence, individuality, safety, and freedom. However, as a client-centered therapist, you drive the process. Whether we focus on one, all, none, or something entirely different, I am here to support you in achieving your life's vision. Specialties: Couples and Families, Men, Teens, Young Adults, People with OCD, Shame and Identity, Religious Trauma, and Christian Counseling Interests: Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Mixed Martial Arts, Christianity, Houston Astros, Memes, Marvel, Lifting Weights, and listening to all types of Music
