With over two decades of experience as a mental health therapist, I work with those struggling with issues they believe are keeping them from being the person they truly want to be. Specializing in treatment of abuse and trauma to self-worth, identity, depression, stress, and/or relationship issues. My passion as a therapist is to help others look through all the distractions in life and to discover their true self. I have asked hundreds of clients, "do you take a moment each week to just sit still and focus on yourself?" Only 1 percent of those I asked actually said, "yes." Therapy is one way in which individuals can make themselves a priority. The first step isn't easy, but I've learned that one of the most powerful aspects of therapy are the days leading to that first session. It is then that individuals act to make themselves a priority in their busy life, by creating a space for themselves and their needs (change, healing, insight).
