As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I hope to create a nonjudgmental and safe environment where you can confidently process your life in an unfiltered way. I want you to be deeply rooted in the relationships of your life, and my goal is to help you create that for yourself. As a graduate of Brigham Young University and St. Mary's University, I saw everyday how social science and faith intersect. My faith is a driving force in my life and a key component for why I pursued becoming a counselor. Because of this, I would love to integrate YOUR faith, wherever you may be in your faith journey, into the therapeutic process. I have also received advanced training in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). Learning this approach helped me to understand the power of authentic emotions. Emotions are essential relationship tools. But, like all tools, if used incorrectly they can become weapons. In our therapeutic process, we will find the true purpose of each emotion and how to share that purpose safely.
