Introduction

Hey there, I am a Professional Counselor & Recreation Therapist and I thank you for reading my introduction. My goal is to offer community Recreation Therapy and Professional counseling to central and northern Michigan. I started my healthcare career working as a Recreation Therapist in physical medicine & rehabilitation, specifically serving survivors and family members of the brain injury, spinal cord injury, amputee and stroke communities. In efforts to expand my scope of practice and skillset, I obtained my Masters in Professional Counseling & School Counseling. Throughout the years, I have learned each of us have abilities, limitations, community support systems and internal strength that can be easy to lose and more difficult to find. My role is to cut through the chaos, meet you where you are at and support you through your journey to help you thrive. Whether you're currently in crisis or looking to increase self-awareness and exploration, my goal is to use utilize the counseling process to guide you in making positive changes within yourself or your immediate social system.
