Introduction

Stephanie Walker is founder of Beautifully Broken Beginnings Counseling, or B3 Counseling. Stephanie received her bachelor degree in Elementary Education from Texas A&M University-Commerce. After 11 years in the classroom, Stephanie returned to school and received her Master Degree in Counseling Psychology from Criswell College in Dallas, TX. Stephanie began her counseling career working in addiction recovery. Stephanie specializes in working with emotional and sexual trauma, PTSD, ADHD, anxiety, and depression. She is trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) which is a proven form of treatment for individuals struggling with unhealthy communication styles and overwhelming emotions. Stephanie is also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) which is utilized to treat anxiety-based disorders including PTSD, emotional/sexual trauma, and negative beliefs about oneself. Stephanie is also a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor and enjoys working with LPC Associates to help guide them through the beginning stages of their counseling career. LPC supervision is available both in person and telehealth for 320/month. During her free time, Stephanie loves hiking, West Coast Swing dancing, reading, and spending time with her grandchildren.
