Introduction

Welcome! Whether you are working through a traumatic event, relationship challenges, or stress, I am happy and honored to help. My hope is to provide a sanctuary where you can find healing, make changes, and become the person you aspire to be. Given that I am from a family that was involved in military and the medical field, I am particularly drawn to working with public safety professionals (first responders- veterans, healthcare workers, police, firefighters, etc.). I am particularly interested in helping those who may be working through posttraumatic stress, relationship issues, general stressors, life transitions, or anxiety. I obtained my doctorate in clinical psychology (Psy.D.) from Midwestern University. Throughout my internship, I developed particular focus areas of trauma and assessment. I also have experience in couples therapy, academic challenges, anxiety, depression, identity-related concerns, addiction, Spanish-speaking counseling, and DBT, amongst others. It would be a privilege to walk with you on your journey. My approach is warm, empathic, collaborative, so that you feel comfortable and appropriately challenged in working towards your goals. To make an appointment, please go to drkuhlman.com, or contact me via this website. I truly look forward to hearing from you!
