Introduction

I am the CEO of Jeremiah Counseling LLC, a licensed professional counselor in the state of Georgia, EMDR certified therapist and EMDRIA approved consultant. Here at Jeremiah Counseling, we view counseling as a way toward healing and enriching your life. I believe that counseling can improve your physical, mental, social, and spiritual well-being. While some people believe that seeking out counseling is a sign of weakness, we wholeheartedly believe that it is a sign of true strength. I consider it an honor to be an empathetic, non-judgmental, objective presence in a situation where you can be at your most vulnerable. Our specialty is working with women 16 and up who have had any type of trauma in their past and/or present who are experiencing complex PTSD, PTSD, and/or dissociation. I use a variety of therapeutic interventions depending on the client and their unique issues such as EMDR, DBT, CBT, and Ego state therapy/IFS. I provide EMDR Intensives from 90 minute to 3 hours as well as consultation to fellow EMDR therapists. I understand that it can be hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel; you might be thinking will this darkness ever end? My main goal as a therapist is to help you see the light and break free from the darkness. That you find hope, healing, and transformation!
