Stephanie Maddox, LPC
Introduction
Stephanie Maddox is a Licensed Professional Counselor. She earned her master's degree in counseling in 2002 from Regent University in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Since then, Stephanie has been providing counseling to adults in both inpatient and outpatient settings. She is passionate about helping people with all kinds of issues, especially those who have been in abusive relationships and survivors of abuse. In her own words... "Meet people where they are" is my motto. To me, that is the best place to start. Making the decision to begin therapy is hard and sometimes scary. My goal is to create a safe space for my clients to address whatever they are struggling with. I am non-judgmental and understand that there are reasons people are and/or feel a certain way. I love helping people understand the root of the issue and working to resolve and get healing from the issue. I am passionate about helping people with a variety of issues, especially those who are/have been in abusive relationships, people who have experienced trauma/abuse, people who are in crisis, relationship issues, mood disorders, and self-esteem issues. There is no issue too small or too big. Since 2002, I have been providing counseling to adults, couples, and older adolescents in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
