Introduction
Welcome to Lighthouse Therapy. My name is Stephanie Flores and I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Since graduating from USC with my masters in Social Work, I've specialized in treating complex trauma, ADHD, depression, anxiety, and self-harm for nearly 15 years. I began my career working with severely mentally ill adult violent offenders in a state psychiatric facility. For the last 12 years, I've worked as a school social worker treating adolescents and their families within junior high and high school settings. I'm extremely passionate about helping adolescents and their families learn how to connect and thrive as a unit. My approach is to listen to understand. I want to inspire change with my clients by building awareness into the patterns of their problem and support the development of strategies to navigate life and their relationships differently. I also believe that I can't do this work alone. Guiding my clients' parents and engaging them in the treatment of their adolescent is how families heal. My goal is to act as an interpreter between adolescents and their parents so that in time they can reconnect and speak one universal language.
