Introduction

When clients come in and say that they are hurt and are in pain, my first thought would always be, "Of course, you would feel hurt. Why wouldn't you be hurt after everything that you have endured?" As your therapist, I utilize mind-body somatic connection in increasing your resiliency towards trauma. Mental health isn't just about what is in our brains - it is connected with our felt sensations that we were not taught to embrace. I am here to help you feel safe and establish stability. As your relationship, couples, and family therapist, I believe that who we are, our legacy, and intergenerational trauma that we inherit and pass on, can reveal the cycles of patterns that we form. I am here to help you look into the bigger picture, take control of what you will establish from here onwards, and create the relationships you want. As an Asian from generations of immigrants, my multiculturalism has brought me to witness and understand the different cultural elements that shape each of us human beings. My deep empathy and curiosity have led me to appreciate clients' experiences through their lens.
