My approach to therapy is integrative, helping mind and body work together towards healing. I draw from various conventional and unconventional therapy techniques, practical neurobiology, yoga philosophy, mindfulness, and frameworks of anti-oppression and intersectional feminism. My natural style is warm and down to earth, with plenty of room for humor and compassionate curiosity. Foundational to my clinical work is my training in Sensorimotor Psychotherapy (SP), an approach that engages the body and nervous system to heal trauma, attachment/relational wounding, harmful cultural conditioning, and painful emotions. SP is a powerful tool for working with implicit, deeply ingrained patterns and limiting beliefs.
