Introduction

Hi! My name is Stacy Dove. I am an LPC and co-owner of Set Sail Counseling, LLC. I have been practicing for more than 16 years and I am registered as a community provider of Cognitive Processing Therapy, which is an evidence-based treatment for Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Additionally, I carry certification as a Clinical Trauma Professional from the International Association of Trauma Professionals. I’m excited that you’re here and considering “setting sail” on your journey toward healing with us. I believe in the power of relationships to help people heal and to recover from whatever stresses they may have encountered in life. I see my role as a therapist being to help you better understand yourself and the concerns that bring you to therapy, as well as to challenge you to move forward from stuck places and continue to grow. If you decide to reach out to schedule an appointment with me, you'll first be in touch with our other owner and Practice Manager, Samantha Liggett. Sam will provide information about our practice, gather some information about you to create a chart, and answer any questions you have. We accept self pay clients, along with Highmark and Capital Blue Cross insurances, and Mazzitti & Sullivan EAP. Our office hours are Mondays and Wednesdays from 4:30 to 7:30 pm, and there are telehealth-exclusive appointments on Tuesday evenings. We understand that some mental health conditions can make it extremely difficult to initiate contact over the phone. If you are looking for a first-time appointment and wish to speak with us via e-mail or text messaging instead, please visit www.setsailcounseling.com/contact/ and complete the electronic form.
