I believe in the power of connection and the resilience of individuals in the face of adversity. When life presents us with challenges that seem too difficult to bear, we often get stuck in a mental cycle that repeats, "Life isn't fair." I won't tell you otherwise, but I will help you find the strength to go on anyway. In my work with oncology, grief, trauma, and couples in conflict, I have worked with clients in unimaginable emotional pain. I strive to access their internal strengths, identify external support systems, and find the resolve to keep moving forward. Together, we uncover and process the emotions that cause anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, insecurity, and that sinking feeling that you may never get back to "you." In couples counseling, I help couples identify patterns that impede communication, motivate unproductive behavior, and create conflict. The goal is to provide a safe space to explore thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Together, we can find the courage to process overwhelming grief and pain, forgive ourselves and others, change what isn't working, increase self-worth, and discover inner peace.
