Introduction

Stacie Adams is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in Dobson, NC. She is the owner and therapist at Insight Transformation Center, PLLC, which she started in 2018 with one day a week, and transitioned to full time in 2019. Stacie has a unique blend of hospice and mental health experience that offers an array of expertise in working with individuals across the life span. Although she especially enjoys working children, she is equally comfortable with adults. She will see children as young as age 4 individually. Families and couples are also welcome to schedule an appointment with her. Stacie's primary approach to counseling is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. She is also trauma informed and utilizes Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy when appropriate. In addition to CBT, she incorporates Mindfulness practices and play therapy. She is very person centered and values the client's investment in the counseling process. Skill building and practice during the session is also emphasized. Stacie is currently seeing clients in the office and online to meet individual needs. The office is in downtown Dobson, which is central to Surry County and neighboring Yadkin County. Online visits are conducted through the electronic medical record and are HIPPA compliant.
