Introduction
Hello, my name is Soy and I appreciate you taking the time to learn more about me, my experience, and how I like to try to support my clients. I have been involved in the mental health field in various roles (e.g. case manager, volunteer, advocate, clinician) for almost 10 years. I have worked with children, adolescents, adults, and 65+ in the form of individual, groups, and couples in areas such as, but not limited to, addiction, the challenges that come with being involved in the legal system, depression, and anxiety. My specialty areas are in relational trauma. As your therapist, my approach to support you and your mental health goals is through relationships--relationship with yourself, your relationships with others, and your relationship with me. I believe that relationships are at the core of our well-being and I will walk alongside you as we explore, sometimes challenge, and navigate your strategies that no longer serve you, as well as the ones that do, in an open, honest, and curious way. I look forward to building relationships with you.
