Having a space where you have the safety to practice honesty offers so much potential. I believe that clients come in taking a risk to share their struggles and stories in pursuit of improving well-being. Every step of the way, I honor that risk by reminding you of the power you hold in the space. Pain and other internal experiences of distress and discomfort can inform us about the ways we see, move through, and live in the world. My goal is to assist clients in making space for those experiences and to move authentically towards values and committed action. I work through an integrated, eclectic approach, incorporating acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and interpersonal therapy. In session, I utilize mindfulness techniques and reflection to exploration of early life experiences with clients. Through a social justice and trauma-informed lens, I aim to understand how social inequities and injustice inform the narratives clients bring into therapy. Together, we can work together to explore your strengths and make progress in ways that reflect your best interests. My experience centers around individuals who struggle with identity conflicts, life transitions, depression, anxiety, self-harm, and suicidal urges.
