Introduction

I take a client-centered approach, tailoring sessions to meet individual needs. I do this by practicing active listening, integrating multiple perspectives, and using evidence-based interventions to help clients heal past trauma and establish a meaningful, balanced life. A Little About Me: I earned her Bachelor of Music in Harp Performance from Boston University, traveled extensively as a professional harpist, and eventually earned a Master of Social Work from the University of Washington. I enjoy counseling adults at every stage of life, and my specialty is counseling adults who are neurodivergent, their families and caregivers. I provide a culturally sensitive, strength-based, trauma-informed-care approach to mental health and counseling. I celebrate diversity and respectfully acknowlege that clients are the experts of their lives. Here are some of the ways I support clients: - Explore personalized self-care as a coping skill - Improve communication skills and interpersonal effectiveness - Discover empowerment through advocating for yourself and people you care about - Intentionally set sustainable healthy boundaries and maintain them - Introduce and practice DBT skills, including mindfulness and radical acceptance Discovering ways to relax and reframe your thoughts can help you get unstuck from negative cognitive loops. Therapeutic harp music may support clients in letting go of anxiety, and instead, embracing tranquility. I accept most major insurances through my supervisor, Simon Connor. If you think we may be a good fit, please reach out to me directly through phone or email.
