Sonya Pearson is a Licensed Professional Counselor. Sonya has been working as a counselor since 2002. She received her BA in Sociology from Claflin University and preceded to receive her MA in Counseling from Webster University. Sonya is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the South Carolina area. She has work with individuals from age 5 to 65 years old. She works with helping individuals who have problems dealing with depression, stress and anxiety, ADHD, personality disorders, family conflict, blended families, anger, relationship problems, grief and loss, separation disorders and PTSD, and many more, Sonya's motto is "Where there is a tomorrow, there is also hope for change." Sonya's counseling approach is person-centered, cognitive behavior therapy, motivational interviewing, solution focused, hypnotherapy and trauma focused. She loves to allow the client to express themselves through communication.
