Introduction

Sonya is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who received her master's in social work from Metropolitan State University of Denver. She provides therapy to individuals with depression, anxiety, and those who have experienced trauma. Sonya is trained in EMDR, DBT, ACT, CBT, and SFBT.  Prior to opening her therapy practice, she had diverse experiences as a social worker and mental health provider. She assisted in the development of an Integrated Care program at a medical clinic serving American Indians and Alaskan Natives, she worked in suicide prevention and crisis intervention, and she was a discharge planner at various acute care and rehabilitation hospitals.
