My own mental health journey and life experiences grew my passion for serving people from all communities. I know reaching out for help and support can be difficult, but I am here to advocate for and walk alongside my clients in their mental health journey, as well as help create a safe space for processing emotions and self-expression. My clients say my approach in session is warm, honest, reflective, and personal. I graduated with my Master of Social Work from California State University, Northridge in 2020 and worked in schools, community mental health, and private practice. I have experience working with children, teens, and adults with a variety of challenges, and help my clients change negative thought patterns, reduce overthinking, create healthy boundaries, improve communication, and regulate emotions. I often help with anxiety, relationship difficulties, ADHD, life transitions, infertility, and pregnancy/postpartum anxiety and depression. Although I typically use CBT, attachment-based, and emotionally focused therapy, the type of therapy used is dictated by you and your individual goals. I do not believe in a one-size-fits-all approach because every person is unique in their goals, lived experiences, and current environment. If one approach isn't working, we try another until you see positive change.
