Founded by Amanda Fincher, our goal is to meet the mental health needs of our community locally so families don't have to travel far to get the help they need. We are able to expand our reach throughout the state via virtual telehealth appointments. Our Mental Health Clinic is made up of highly experienced mental health professionals who place value in the relationship formed in therapy as monumental in eliciting positive and productive change. We take great pride in providing our community with high-quality, patient-centric care. Amanda Fincher is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor located in Southern Anne Arundel County. She has a special interest in helping mothers navigate the teen years, helping women with ADHD, and coaching women navigating a career change. Meet Ashley:Hi! I’m Ashley Oursler. I am a Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor serving individuals, couples, and families in Maryland. Providing a safe environment where my clients feel empowered to share their experiences and struggles without fear of judgment is my main priority. I believe that walking the journey with my clients through empathy, support, and collaboration is crucial to building a trusting relationship that can lead to positive change and well-being. I began my counseling journey as a Crisis Counselor in Calvert County providing support and counseling services to children, adolescents, women, and men experiencing crisis and trauma. I then transitioned to working with men and women in the fire service experiencing a range of mental health issues including PTSD, depression, anxiety, OCD, OCPD, stress, and substance use issues. My passion lies in working with those who have experienced trauma and are struggling with post-traumatic stress. I am trained in Cognitive Processing Therapy, a specific type of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy aimed to help reduce the symptoms of PTSD. I believe in a strengths-based approaystch while also incorporating Cognitive Behavioral techniques focused on addressing the thoughts and beliefs keeping us “stuck.” As a mother of three active children, I understand the struggles of managing the day-to-day and believe that incorporating stress reduction techniques into daily life is essential to positive well-being. While being a full-time mom and wife, I earned my masters of science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University and my bachelors of science in Human Services from Post University. I currently live in southern Maryland with my husband, children, dog and cat. “The good life is a process, not a state of being. It is a direction, not a destination.” – Carl Rogers Meet Crystal:Crystal McFadden is an experienced and compassionate therapist who is dedicated to helping kids, young adults, as well as parents navigate their unique challenges.
