I have been a practicing psychologist for over 15 years. I lived the first few years of my life in Israel and am fluent in Hebrew, although I only conduct therapy sessions in English as English is my stronger language. I spent most of my childhood in Orange County, CA followed by several years in Cincinnati, OH where I completed my BSc at Xavier University (graduating summa cum laude). Following undergrad, I earned my PhD in Clinical Psychology from the University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB). I completed my predoctoral internship in the Bay Area at Stanford Children’s Hospital and The Children’s Health Council, followed by a postodoctoral fellowship at Stanford University in the Child & Adolescent Psychiatry Clinic. During this time, I received training from leaders in their fields, especially with regard to anxiety and other internalizing disorders, ADHD and behavior management, eating disorders, and autism. Since leaving Stanford and the Bay Area, I have continued to work with the above populations throughout Orange County. I have also given numerous presentations and been invited to speak at local schools and organizations to both teens and parents about these topics. I live in Orange County, CA with my husband, three kids, and our energetic puppy. In my free time, I love to run, read for pleasure, watch TV, and hang out with my family and our little Boston Terrier. On a personal note, I'm real and approachable, and I strive to understand your experience and all the personal details that make you who you are. Whether you're an incredibly anxious high schooler or a harried mom of school-aged kids, my laidback approach will put you at ease. If you imagine a boring conversation full of, "how did that make you feel?", this is not it. I look forward to meeting you.
