Hi there. Firstly, my name Siobhán is Irish & pronounced like sha-v-on. And I am glad you are here. Secondly, I am a human being who cares deeply for fellow beings in the crazy ride that is called Life. By trade I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of California and the State of New York with over seven years of direct experience in healthcare, social welfare, mental health, and human service environments. In our work together will help discuss life experiences together to discover the innate answers and ways to process sed experiences with hope for the future. Cultivating a deeper awareness of your personal life story – how you experience the world – is an essential step toward rewiring the brain and essentially rewriting your personal narrative. By looking more closely at our stories we gain valuable insight into how it got to be that way, and in the process, why certain aspects might not withstand scrutiny, critical thinking, or factual evidence. As we work together we will look for themes and patterns through narratives. I truly believe meaningful therapy comes when YOU feel a connection with your clinician.
