Introduction

I am a bilingual (Spanish & English), licensed psychotherapist under the state of Florida in private practice in the Fort Lauderdale/Wilton Manors area. I obtained my bachelors degree in psychology from Universidadel Este: Puerto Rico and a master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling at Carlos Albizú University: Miami FL. My experience with mental health started during my practicum year where I worked at SunServe Social Services, I then continued as a volunteer therapist, and now a therapist collective member. ​ I am also experienced in substance abuse with co-occurring disorders, as I have been providing individual and group counseling to individuals with persistent mental illness and chemical dependence.
