Introduction

I am a Licensed Professional counselor who believes in empowering couples, families individuals, adults and youths, to overcome personal obstacles to improve themselves, their relationships with others and to promote self-efficacy. Using clinically tested and evidences-based interventions, I have worked with many diverse individuals with challenges ranging from trauma, PTSD, depression, anxiety, sexual abuse, family discord, bipolar disorder, grief, addictions and many more. I am a Texas transplant and a native of Liberia, West Africa. I have a bachelor’s degree in social work and a Masters in counseling from Prairie View A&M University. Even though I use a variety of research-based treatment modalities to treat the specific needs of each client, my personal choice is Cognitive Behavior Therapy.
