Introduction

As a licensed and EMDR certified therapist, I take a wholistic approach with my clients. Problems in the present may have multifaceted roots. It is important to take into consideration how our bodies are functioning, how our minds are functioning, and how our spirits are functioning. Coming to the office with a background as a college psychology professor for over twenty years, I help support my clients by applying concepts that we have learned through that science. On a more personal note, I am a Christian and my faith is very important to me. I believe that our spiritual health is an integral part of our overall wellbeing. I also realize that we are all at different places on our spiritual journey. I enter into my counseling office with an open mind and ready to truly hear where my client is at on his or her journey.
