Hello, my name is Shera and I am a licensed clinical social worker committed to helping clients discover and build their strengths so that they can empower themselves to live their lives to the fullest. I work collaboratively with you and personalize your counseling sessions to best meet your goals. I specialize in working with adults and use culturally-sensitive approaches that take into consideration that you may have experienced trauma at some point in your life and need an understanding and compassionate approach. I have training in somatic therapies and believe that strengthening the mind-body connection is vital for positive mental health and overall wellness. I am currently an in-network provider for United Healthcare and Aetna insurance. I am currently only doing video counseling sessions and make appointments during evening hours. This allows you to access therapy outside of typical working hours and in the comfort of your own home.
