Introduction

Welcome to True North Integrative Counseling Services (TNIC). Over time, I have found that clarity regarding professional therapeutic alliances and ethical policy and procedures is essential in establishing a strong and trusting therapeutic relationship. My ability to be explicit in this regard, and your willingness to discuss any issues of concern with me, will support the work we do together. Education, Training and Experience: I have two master’s degrees from clinically accredited Oregon Universities. A Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from George Fox (2007) and a Master of Social Work from Portland State University (2017). I am an experienced LCSW & Mental Health Therapist with strong therapeutic skills who has 12 years of direct clinical experience working in collaborative settings providing mental health and coordinated care for children, individuals, couples, families, and groups. I have a strong educational background in family systems, trauma, play therapy, and mental health disorders as well as numerous certificates of training.
