I became a counselor for many reasons. One of which is the underlying belief that with science, the right tools, and authentic human connection people are capable of building the life they want. One of my greatest joys in the past few years has been witnessing and facilitating my clients to reclaim their life, fall in love with their partner(s), and learn to trust themself again. I don't shy away from life's more difficult moments and will sit with you in your dark night of the soul so you don't have to be alone. I have training through EMDRIA.org to do EMDR therapy. While my primary focus of practice is EMDR therapy, I also provide traditional talk therapy utilizing IFS, CBT, Narrative, DBT, and ACT therapy. For families and relationship therapy, I have training in sex therapy, Imago Therapy, Emotionally focused therapy, and Gottman techniques. All walks of life are welcome here. I regularly complete trainings and view continuing education as a life long practice.Everything I do, including EMDR is based first in human centered belief that you are the expert on you and my job is to facilitate your growth in the directions you desire.
