Expressive arts and imaginal psychology are orientations that guided me on my personal and professional therapeutic journey, and I'm privileged to offer these transformative modalities to support others. Drama therapy applies therapeutic tools from the theatre, is active, embodied, and experiential. Imaginal psychology supports psyche, or soul awareness, in gaining an objective perspective of our experience by supporting the parts of us that might need some encouragement or compassion. Imaginal work integrates us toward acceptance, accountability, and positive relationships while recognising the impact of cultural shame and trauma. In our work together this might look like drawing or collaging, engaging in movement or dance, expressing through your inner parts, or role playing; or simply noticing sensations in your body as we sit and talk about present emotions. I will model and encourage you to identify and explore subjective parts of yourself with compassion and curiosity. Well suited for motivated individuals in Vermont who are hoping to process, develop coping skills, self compassion, and personal growth. I am not well suited for those seeking to primarily focus on OCD or behavioural challenges. Telehealth only. Please contact me if your interested and let me know your insurance provider, preferred time to meet, and if you're comfortable describe in a general way what you are hoping to receive support with.
