I graduated with my Masters of Education (M.Ed) in Counseling Psychology from Temple University in 2019 and am currently a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate (LMHCA #MC 61008113) practicing under supervision. I am an open and proud member of the LGBTQ+ community and have provided individual counseling and case management to clients since 2019. I specialize in working with LGBTQ+ populations, particularly queer and non-binary adolescents/young adults as well as providing gender affirming care. I use a non-pathologizing lens and anti-oppressive frameworks to conceptualize symptomology of my clients while acknowledging and centering how systems of oppression and experiences of marginalization impact my client’s experiences of the world. I believe actively addressing systems that cause harm is a pinnacle part of mental health care and center mutual aid and harm reduction practices inside and outside of therapeutic settings. I have experience working with a wide range of individuals and mental health concerns. I believe in building a foundation of trust with my clients first and foremost and I encourage the use of artistic expression, movement and humor in sessions.
