My path to becoming a therapist started in 2000 following the loss of my first wife and my realization of the absolute importance of mental and emotional wellness. During my career I have helped those struggling with addiction, trauma, sexual addiction, pedophilia (sexual attraction to children,) hebephilia (sexual attraction to juveniles.) paraphilias (such as exhibitionism,) and other inappropriate sexual behaviors and interests (I do NOT do conversion therapy.) I am an Certified Clinical Trauma Professional and am trained in trauma-specific techniques such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Motivational Interviewing, guided meditations/visualizations, and other person-centered techniques.
