Dr. Sharon Humphrey came to psychology as a second career after working for many years as a public servant in local municipalities. She earned her graduate degree at the Stanford-affiliated PGSP-Stanford PsyD Consortium. She trained at both the Palo Alto VA and the Sierra Nevada VA where she honed her skills serving our nation's veterans before practicing at various Kaiser Permanente clinics in the Bay Area. While devoted to private practice, she continues to spend part of her clinical hours supervising doctoral graduate students at the Palo Alto VA and facilitating therapy groups at Kaiser in Redwood City. Given her broad experience, Dr. Humphrey is comfortable with a wide range of presentations. Whether you are looking to address specific symptoms, need support through life changes, or are having difficulty with decisions large or small, her genuine warmth and skill will help you define your True North.
