Introduction

[Note update of September/October 2023: Book services with me with the understanding that I have temporarily relocated to Arkansas, but maintain my California license to see California clients virtually] At Expansion Psychotherapy and Consultation, Inc, my interest is in helping people, well, expand: expansion beyond what you or others expected for your life, beyond what you settled for, or to which you limited yourself. I am trained as a generalist psychologist, but my niche areas include clients working toward valuing themselves and setting better boundaries, as well as late (social) bloomers. I bring to bear both my clinical training and my own lived experience to support clients in these niche areas. Note that my practice is not best suited for managing clients that tend toward crisis. Clients who work with me feel better able to manage stress, feel less restrained, and are better able to assert themselves. I love to see and help my clients live more expansive lives. It is said that if you want something different, you must do something different. If you are ready to do the work toward something different in your life in the context of warm but appropriately challenging psychotherapy, book a free brief consultation to determine if we are a good fit and if I have the expertise to help you.
