Introduction

HELLO! I am glad you are here! Let me introduce myself, my name is, Shari (Sharon) Franco- Fisher MA, LPCC, Owner/President of IHCS- Earned a Masters of Arts Degree in Clinical Pastoral Counseling from Ashland Theological Seminary in Ashland, Ohio in 2008. I earned this degree while a single mom and raising my two wonderful daughters. I am currently licensed in the State of State of Kentucky as a (LPCC) Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor. I know the challenges of single motherhood and of a blended family. I worked full-time as a Crisis Counselor, for two different addiction recovery centers, and Mental health facilities in Northern Kentucky. I have worked with families, couples, and individuals that have mental health, marital issues, personality disturbances, mood disorders, and substance abuse issues. My main passion and treatment focus area is with PTSD, Trauma, Sexual Abuse, Physical Abuse, substance abuse, Women’s issues. I am uniquely skilled with an extensive degree of experience treating ADHD, Mood Disorders, Personality Disorders, Panic disorders, Depression, Phobias, and Adolescent issues. I come to my practice with Certifications in DBT – Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Trauma Focused CBT training. I have experience utilizing these theories in conjunction with Reality Therapy, CBT, TF-CBT, and Brief Solution Focused Therapy for positive results.
