Hello, my name is Shantay Evans. I know that reaching out for therapy support can be a scary, yet tremendous first step. You don't have to go through the process alone. Together, we will create a warm, healthy therapeutic relationship. I want to understand from your point of view. I'll also help you to identify things that can be changed within your environments to help resolve conflicts and alleviate feelings of frustration, anger, sadness, stress and anxiety. Although I offer specialized support to clients of color, my expertise is multicultural counseling, and my clients are from all ethnic backgrounds. I use trauma-informed and culturally sensitive approaches when promoting mental health wellness. Regardless as to whether we're virtual or in-person, you will find that I am a genuine person who will support you in a judgment-free setting. I want you to be comfortable, so please dress down. Be you. I change my hair often, and I dress in athletic attire. I would love the opportunity to support you! I am licensed in SC, GA, and FL. I am accepting new clients in-person for office or Walk and Talk sessions as well as virtually. I own a HIPPA compliant, paperless, private pay practice (no insurance accepted). Completed paperwork and payment are all I need to get you set up for your 1st appt. If you are ready to begin, click the Request Appointment option on this website. Let's get started! All About the Therapist Here's some information about my education and 20+ years of experiences. I am a native of South Carolina.
