Join me on a collaborative, compassionate, and goal-focused therapeutic journey. Regardless of the therapy style we work within, I take a somatic and trauma-informed approach, which means I practice therapy with the recognition that distress and well-being are not solely happening at the cognitive level but across your entire physiology. Based on your needs, we will access your innate wisdom and build new skills through various modes of expression and multiple levels of consciousness: rational, emotional, creative, meditative, and sensory—the therapeutic process is multidimensional, touching on many layers of your embodied reality. I work with behavioral therapies such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Mindfulness Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (MBCT), which enlist a full range of practices to support healing and self-discovery, such as mindfulness, breath work, drawing, psychoeducation, body scanning, writing, and visualization. My long history of studying yoga also informs my work. Together, we will craft a therapeutic journey that supports your aims and honors the organic nature of your change process. If this resonates with you, don't hesitate to get in touch with me. Oh, and my nickname is Sati!
