I have a passion for helping others in a therapeutic environment. After several years of my own struggles I grew a tremendous amount of respect for the therapists who helped me learn coping skills and processing emotions. I wanted to help others in the same way I was given the chance to heal. I love what I do and I have never looked back. From what I have seen in my career, therapy helps patients through gaining insight and understanding into their lives from a micro perspective which is internal to a macro perspective, realizing that family and environmental factors play a role in the direct effect of moods and emotions. When working with trauma, watching individuals have the realization they are not their trauma and there is a way through the pain of their past is life changing. To be a partner in someone's journey in healing is priceless.
