You’re resilient and strong, but you have some unresolved trauma from earlier in life that still bothers you. You’ve coasted, you’re high functioning anxious/depressed with a tough past. You’ve settled, and you’re fine. You keep busy and focus on others around you. Frequently it’s a crutch, a way to avoid dealing with your own needs.
