Introduction

When everything seems to be going right, have you ever wondered why it can still feel like something is missing? Do you find that fighting negative thoughts is  becoming a daily task? Does the idea of simply existing in a peaceful space seem far fetched? Are you just overwhelmed and sometimes think “ *sigh* if I just had someone to talk to”? If any of this resonates with you, then the first thing I’d like to do is send virtual hugs and tell you that you are not alone. The first step is always the hardest but if you are up for the challenge I will stand beside you as work to liberate yourself and stand firmly in your truth. About Me: As a clinician providing clinical and direct care services to children, adults, and families in the field for over 11 years, I believe in providing attentive and empathetic care as you journey toward the daily peace that you deserve. My goal as therapist is to provide a safe space to foster healing, growth, and rediscovery of self, particularly to members of the BIPOC community. I help clients struggling with anxiety and depression related issues such as work-related stress, microaggressions, family relationships and racial trauma. Through my care, clients develop coping skills to manage their symptoms and feel empowered in their day-to-day lives. Through the use of CBT and mindfulness frameworks, we will explore your personal stories and the ways in which your thoughts/beliefs impact your actions so that we can then work together to modify behaviors, strengthen what's already working, and discover new ways to cope and succeed. I firmly believe that you cannot pour from an empty cup and by starting the process of self-discovery and healing you’ll initiate a domino effect that will undoubtedly have a positive impact on every other aspect of your life. Your challenges are not insurmountable, your anxiety does not have to control you, and your depression does not have to suffocate you. ~You Got This~
