Challenges occur in all stages of life. Some are small and other's large. With the proper support and guidance, one can get through any circumstance or stressor. It is even more difficult as men's mental health continues to be secondary among important issues. I hope to be the support for those men, father's and young adults finding there way through their mental health struggles or, who are open to exploring them. I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT 97196), having received my Bachelors of Science in Psychology with an emphasis in Child and Adolescent Development from Saint Mary's College of California and, a Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of San Francisco. I have been trained in multiple evidenced based practices including; Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Structural Family Therapy, Triple P parenting Skill set, and assessment in Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics (NMT). As a clinician, I have worked in a multitude of settings ranging from a level 12 residential care facility , to foster care programs, to intensive outpatient clinics, schools, and lockdown facilities. Within all those settings I have provided individual and family therapy, consultation on treatment, and psychosocial assessment and diagnosis.
