Sebrena is passionate about assisting clients overcome anxiety by developing a deeper connection to self through person centered therapy, attachment style therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy. She creates a safe, non-judgmental space that allows clients to process and heal as well as increase their understanding of how their childhood impacts their adult life. She also assists clients in increasing their self awareness by challenging and reframing their negative thoughts and behaviors. Sebrena utilizes break work paired with guided meditations, crystal sound bowl healing and other practices within the therapeutic space. Sebrena Thurton is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) through the California Board of Behavioral Sciences and is a member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (CAMFT). She earned her Bachelors of Arts in Psychology from California State University –San Bernardino. She holds a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Azusa Pacific University. She has been serving clients in community mental health since 2016. While gaining her professional experience, she’s had success in working with a wide range of issues such as depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, relational issues just to name a few.
