My role is to partner with you to explore what is and is not working in your life, acknowledging personal and societal barriers to a gratifying life, and how to overcome those barriers. I employ an eclectic perspective in therapy. My practice involves building a therapeutic relationship with warmth, humor and acceptance while offering tools to reframe patterns of thinking, create positive behavior change, and explore alternatives to stories that may be causing you harm. I also use mindfulness and self-compassion to support therapy and am advanced trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy. A good therapeutic rapport is an essential component of successful therapy. Insurance companies may limit the number or length of sessions, and types of therapy they are willing to cover. Self-pay affords you the ability to receive the treatment you are seeking and that is most appropriate. This means your private information is truly confidential and not available for review by your insurance company. You may submit sessions for out of network reimbursement. Some insurance companies will reimburse a portion of the cost for out of network providers.
