Introduction

I specialize in treating adults who struggle with addiction, depression, and anxiety. Working from a psychoanalytic perspective, I help people uncover unconscious patterns and gain insight on their life. Most behavioral, emotional, or cognitive struggles are tied up with each other in very complex ways which have unfolded over the course of someone's life. The work of therapy is the unraveling of these strings to reconfigure them in a more satisfying and fulfilling way. I have worked in the field of mental health since 2021, working with individuals struggling with addiction, homelessness, and severe mental disorders. This work continues to orient my work today with anyone I see. Psychoanalytic psychotherapy is an exploratory, open-ended approach to therapy, recognizing the importance of the relationship between the client and the therapist and the primacy of unique experience.
