Hey there! My name is Sean, and I am so happy you are here! As I believe we are all unique in some way, I also believe how we all then respond to counseling is just as particular. So, I focus on who I am working with before committing to how I approach our time together. Although I lean toward Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Gestalt, Psychodynamic, and Mindfulness aspects, my integrative lens promotes tailoring to fit your needs (individual, cultural, systemic, etc). I am currently exploring Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Trauma-Informed approaches. I primarily support individuals (18+), particularly young and middle-aged adults, navigating mood disorders, suicidal ideation, emotional regulation, and anxiety/depression. I am especially passionate about supporting individuals from marginalized communities, including Black/African American identities, those who have experience with/in the criminal justice system, and neurodivergent populations (Autism/Down Syndrome). I have strong clinical interest in supporting those experiencing self-harm, trauma, and personality struggles. I am committed to authenticity and genuine care, creating a compassionate, collaborative space where you can feel safe to explore, grow, and find your voice through real, approachable communication. In addition to clinical experience, I am certified in ASIST Suicide Training and educated in mental health legal processes. Please feel free to reach out, and I cannot wait to go on this ride together!
