Introduction

If you are someone dealing with trauma, anxiety, depression, coping, existential/quality of life concerns, there are solutions and hope for restoring joy and having a resolve for these issues. Using an integrative approach, therapy is tailored to best serve your specific needs. I take a directive approach to therapy as well as provide supportive guidance with warmth and humor . But most of all, I believe in the power of sincerity and respect to truly have the collaborative experience that I wish to provide. In addition to being a licensed mental health counselor, I have had 24 years of experience as a para-professional providing crisis response services (CISM, Peer Support) to First Responders while performing my duties as a law enforcement officer. Upon my retirement from law enforcement, I had the privilege of counseling persons who were previously part of the justice system. I honor the journey of all clients and their pasts. I have worked with a multitude of clients and a wide variety of diagnoses focusing on post traumatic stress disorder. I provide EMDR therapy which by evidence the most effective therapy for PTSD. I bring a lot of life experience to counseling, especially trauma/crisis issues for First Responders/Veterans. My focus is to walk this journey with you and resolve your therapeutic goals so that you may put your past in your past and have a renewed sense of self.
