Empathic Evidence Based Care Scott Hannan, Ph.D. is a clinical psychologist who specializes in cognitive behavioral therapy for children, adolescents and adults. Dr. Hannan has over 20 years of experience using evidenced based treatments to help those struggling with issues related to OCD, Anxiety Disorders, and Depression. Dr. Hannan obtained his doctorate in clinical psychology from Fordham University in 2002. He completed his internship at the Institute of Living, specializing in children and adolescents. Upon completion of this internship, Dr. Hannan completed a post doctoral fellowship at the Institute of Living's Anxiety Disorder Center, where he received specialized training in cognitive behavioral therapy for children, adolescents, and adults with OCD, Anxiety Disorders, and Depression. Over the course of his career, Dr. Hannan has worked at the Institute of Living's Anxiety Disorder Center as a staff psychologist. He also served as the manager of the outpatient clinic for over a decade. Outside of his work in a hospital system, Dr. Hannan provides trainings, consultations, and therapy through his private practice. He conducts professional developments for mental health professionals and school systems. Dr. Hannan also consults with school systems in helping children and adolescents. Due to his expertise in Obsessive Compulsive and Related Disorders, Dr. Hannan has been a featured expert on A&E's Hoarders and VH1's The OCD Project. Dr. Hannan has been involved in research related to Obsessive Compulsive and Related Disorders, Anxiety Disorders, and School Refusal. Potential new patients: I am available on Mondays and Tuesdays. Fees: Please note that I do not accept insurance. However, many clients are able to use "out of network" benefits to get reimbursed for a portion of their out-of-pocket costs.
