I am a father, son, brother, friend, student, teacher, Black man, humanitarian, writer, public speaker, and business owner to name a few. Mental Ascension Counseling & Consulting is a licensed mental health service office based in the Gaithersburg, MD area- here to guide you through life’s complexed and stressful issues. I truly care about my clients’ well-being, therapeutic education, awareness of self, and all-around "mental ascension." I have worked in multiple industries including transportation, customer service, healthcare, retail, and government. This experience has garnered a plethora of introspect as well as interaction and appreciation of others. I have also utilized my time and energy to cultivate my natural curiosity of people to expand my own worldview through interactions and studies. I received my Masters of Arts in Counseling from Wake Forest University. While I treat a wide array of mental health issues, my passion lies within healing, uniting, and solidifying the Black family. Through couples, family, and individual counseling, I aim to improve the connection and communication of families, one at a time.
