I work with individuals in the LGBT2SQIA+ community and provide gender and sexuality affirming therapy that addresses the impact of marginalization and discrimination plays on our mental health. We can explore identity development, relationships and intimacy, attachment, healing from trauma, managing anxiety and depression, queer family building and parenting, and improving healthy boundaries for ourselves and others. I provide partner therapy for queer relationships, including polyamory/ethical non-monogamy that addresses relationship issues without forcing your relationships into traditional models or binaries. I utilize different therapy approaches based on works best for my clients. I predominately pull from narrative, Gestalt, attachment, Internal Family Systems, and cognitive-behavioral therapy interventions. I approach all of my therapy through a trauma-informed and affirmative lens. I offer a challenge and support role in that I ask clients to consider new perspectives, alternative considerations, and ask them to push themselves and step outside their comfort zones, but I am always by their side with empathy, compassion, and support. I believe that all of my clients are capable of achieving the growth that they desire.
