I am a bilingual clinician dedicated to helping individuals overcome trauma, ADHD, and related mental health challenges. I combine firmness, empathy, and humor to foster trust and achieve positive outcomes through a neuroscience-based, holistic approach to healing—especially for those frustrated with themselves. I graduated with honors from California Baptist University and California State University, Northridge (B.A. in Communication Studies). I transitioned from a career in journalism as a news reporter to social work to align with my passion for authenticity and meaningful change. My personal experiences as a ward of the court in my youth shaped my resilience and deepened my commitment to advocating for at-risk and misunderstood populations. I also attribute much of my approach to my faith, as well as my understanding of trauma bonds, relationship addictions, and attachment complexities. I firmly believe that, with proper support, healing is always possible. As Founder and Director of Psych. Ed. at Sasha Consulting Co., I conduct workshops, provide lectures, and support organizations with program evaluations aimed at promoting mental health literacy, empowering stakeholders to navigate challenges with confidence, and advocating for change at both the local and state levels. In my clinical practice, I integrate Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and strength-based approaches. I am currently pursuing certifications in Compassionate Inquiry and Internal Family Systems (IFS), both evidence-based models that address trauma, foster self-awareness and promote healing through a deeper understanding of the self and internal parts. Beyond my work, I enjoy traveling, attending symphonies, and serving at my local church. My mission is to inspire hope, foster healing, and empower others to overcome their challenges.
